Our beginnings: In 1981, whe Utah Farm Bureau offices were located in Murray, farmers started informally selling out of the back of their trucks at the farm bureau offices. More farmers expressed the need for a space in Murray to sell their produce, and the Murray Farmers Market was born.

The market is still run by the Utah Farm Bureau Federation, ​an affiliate of the American Farm Bureau Federation, which boasts more than 6 million members nationwide.

Farm Bureau is the voice of agriculture at all levels.
